On 4th January 2026, 110 blind students participated in a thoughtfully organized medical camp by Poojan Charitable Trust, dedicated to their health, well-being, and holistic development.
Each student received a general health check-up, haemoglobin testing, and a special dermatology consultation. Necessary medicines were provided on the spot to students requiring treatment—ensuring not just diagnosis, but immediate care and support.
Beyond health, the day was filled with inspiration and joy. Poojan also organized a chess competition exclusively for blind students, where their confidence, sharp thinking, and exceptional skills were truly heart-warming to witness. 10 winners were awarded prizes, celebrating not just victory, but determination and self-belief.
Seeing blind students play chess with such focus and confidence was a powerful reminder that ability goes far beyond vision. Moments like these reaffirm our commitment to creating opportunities, dignity, and care for every child.
